The Missiles of October will be making a special concert appearance on October 22nd at the Westside Bar and Grill in Costa Mesa. The Show is part of a new concert series the Westside is doing in cooperation with KOCI 101.5 FM called “KOCI Presents.” The series is designed to showcase prominent local bands from Orange County, as well as show-support for the station.

The Westside concert is an opportunity for the Band to make a rare appearance in the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area where KOCI has established itself as a new and unique low power and community-based non-profit radio station. Even though its on-air signal does not reach the Band’s traditional base in Laguna Beach and South County, KOCI has developed an innovative format that blends great music from rock, blues, folk and related genres with public information and community service programming. Through its numerous area fundraisers, studio interviews, and field events, the Station has also demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting and promoting Orange County’s local musicians.

The Missiles encourage its many friends and fans to try and make it down for what promises to be a special evening. As shown on the attached Flyer, the Show begins at 8:30 and there is a $7 Cover Charge. Directions and other information can be obtained by calling or emailing the Westside directly as indicated.
